Kirk Fretz

Growing up as a young child, I was always hands on. This was likely due to working on the Fretz family dairy farm, lawn cutting and always constructing and or repairing buildings and equipment.

Those strong work ethics drove me into hands on field that everyone requires in life, plumbing and heating.

I attended Niagara College, 2 year program, in the heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and industrial ventilation technical program. This Program was oriented for more of the engineering side of the mechanical side of our industry. Again, my being more hands on, I worked with these tools in the mid 80’s working for numerous mechanical contractors, along with attending many courses and accreditations.

In 1989, this economy was on a decline, and the layoffs were happening throughout the industry. I was laid off and could not still. Therefore I took control of my own destiny. I opened Fretz Heating and Air Conditioning.

Since 1989, I have continued educating myself in out trade and acquire more government recommended qualification. I now have Gas Fitter Class G1 unlimited gas capacities, licenced refrigeration / air conditioning mechanic, plumber, and an OBC qualified designer in HVAC house, pluming and building services. I have always encouraged our staff to better their education and skills, as this provides great value to our clients.

We strive to provide overall value to our clients, with a control energy management perspective, without compromising the end product. Customer relationships are our main priority. Always providing respect and value to other as you would yourself.

Today, Fretz operates between 15 & 20 employees with twice as many trucks on the road to service the plumbing, sheet metal and HVAC industry in residential, commercial and industrial shops.
